Shane Buechele Siblings: Meet Tanner Buechele, Amber Buechele, Garrett Buechele and Jordan Buechele

For the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League, Shane Buechele is the quarterback on the field right now. On January 8, 1998, he was born. Prior to attending SMU, he participated in college football in Texas.

Buechele excelled in baseball and football while attending Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas. He tossed for 6,379 yards and 21 touchdowns while running for 1,805 yards during his quarterbacking career.

Buechele, who transferred to Southern Methodist University after earning his degree from Texas in the spring, took over for Ben Hicks, who went to the University of Arkansas.

Buechele started the Mustangs’ regular-season opener against Arkansas State. He completed 30 passes out of 49 attempts for 360 yards and one interception in the 37-30 victory.

Buechele was passed over in the 2021 NFL Draft and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs on May 13, 2021.

He was relieved from his duties on August 31, 2021. The next day, he was included in their practice squad. He was promoted from the practice squad on November 16, 2021.

Shane has four siblings, all of whom support the Oklahoma Sooners. Steve Buechele and Nancy Buechele had five children, including Shane.

Tanner Buechele, Amber Buechele, Garrett Buechele, and Jordan Buechele are all of his four siblings.
