Shaq Lawson Siblings: Meet Jaheim Lawson and Kiara Lewis

Defensive end Shaq Lawson competes in American football for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills. He stands 1.91 meters tall and weighs 121 kg. He played football and attended D. W. Daniel High School. As a senior, he made 99 tackles and recorded nine sacks. As a junior, he made 100 tackles and recorded 13 sacks.



He made his college football commitment to Clemson University and was listed as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com. From 2013 through 2015, he participated in collegiate football for the Clemson Tigers at Clemson University. He participated in all 13 games during his debut season at Clemson, recording 35 tackles and four sacks

In 2014, he participated in all 13 games as a sophomore and made one start. He made 44 tackles and 3.5 sacks during the year. During his junior year in 2015, he started. In the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected him. He committed to the Miami Dolphins in March 2020, agreeing to a three-year, $30 million deal. On August 6, 2020, the team put him on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Next day, he was put into service. He was acquired by the Houston Texans in a trade in March 2021. His contract was purchased by the New York Jets from the Texans in August 2021. Lawson signed a one-year contract to play for the Buffalo Bills when he returns in March 2022.
