Shaun Wade Parents: Meet Randy Wade and Gwen Wade

Shaun Wade is an American football cornerback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he attended Trinity Christian Academy and was named USA Today’s High School Football Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2016.

Wade was born on September 15th, 1998, and he went to Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, which is located in the state of Florida.



While in high school, Wade’s teams won the Florida State Championship in all four years that he played.

As a senior, he was the USA Today High School Football Player of the Year and won the Lockheed Martin defensive back of the year awarded by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

He is a five-star prospect who has already made his decision to play collegiate football at Ohio State University.

After sitting out his first year at Ohio State in 2017, Wade participated in all 14 games during his sophomore campaign in 2018. At the end of the season, he had a total of 31 tackles and three interceptions.

In 2019, he was a redshirt sophomore at Ohio State after having returned there. Wade received his Bachelor of Science degree in the sports industry and graduated with it.
