Wide receiver Slade Bolden competes in professional football for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He is 87 kilograms and 1.8 meters tall. He played football and went to West Monroe High School. During his junior season, he split his time between quarterback and receiver, rushing for 1,370 yards and 24 touchdowns, throwing for 906 yards and nine more, and receiving 15 passes for 248 yards and four more.
Bolden was voted the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior after rushing for 1,460 yards and 20 touchdowns and passing for 1,622 yards. He turned down offers from TCU and LSU to play collegiate football and was regarded as a three-star recruit.
From 2018 through 2021, he participated in football games for the University of Alabama’s Alabama Crimson Tide. He completed a six yard pass for a touchdown while also running four times for 10 yards as a wildcat quarterback as a redshirt freshman. He also caught two passes for 34 yards. Bolden started out as wide receiver as a redshirt sophomore.
He caught 42 passes for 408 yards and three scores as a redshirt junior. He made the decision to bypass his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2022 NFL Draft after the season. He joined the Baltimore Ravens in April 2022 as an undrafted free agent. In August, he was placed on injured reserve after being waived or injured.
