Giant wide receiver, Sterling Shepard was once married to model Chanel Iman, who is known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. After four years of marriage, the couple announced that they would be getting a divorce.
According to court documents, Shepard, who is 29 years old, and Iman, who is 32 years old, had been married for over four years, Shepard filed for divorce from Iman on June 7 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the break.
The NFL star submitted a request for shared parental responsibility for their two girls. Additionally, he demanded that his house serves as the principal residence of their offspring. It’s important to note that he’s also asking for Iman to have “supervised parenting time” with the girls.
The once-married couple has reconciled their differences in order to participate in mediation, and a hearing regarding case management is scheduled for February 23.
In December of 2017, exactly two years after they had first started dating, the athlete popped the question to Iman. The wedding took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles in March 2018.
Iman made the happy announcement that she was expecting the couple’s first child, a girl named Cali Clay, just two months after the couple tied the wedding. In December 2019, she gave birth to their second child, a daughter named Cassie Snow.
