Steven Kwan

Steven Kwan is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Cleveland Guardians of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022.

Over the course of 17 games, Kwan hit a combined.346 for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers and the Arizona League Indians, both of which are affiliated with the Cleveland Indians.

He batted.280 with three home runs, 39 RBIs, and 26 doubles in 123 games for the Lynchburg Hillcats in 2019. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the minor league season was canceled in 2020, and he was unable to participate.

Akron RubberDucks promoted Kwan to Columbus Clippers in late August of the 2021 season. His season was cut short by a strained right hamstring that kept him out for six weeks. Kwan cut 77 times in the two clubs’ meetings. 12-for-44 with a slugging percentage of.328/.407/427.

On November 19, 2021, the Cleveland Guardians, who had just been renamed, picked Kwan for inclusion in their 40-man roster.
