After being named to the Eagles’ final roster to begin the new season, he played in all 16 games, making four starts. His first day of operation is October 31, 2020.

In the Week 8 Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys, Edwards led the team with 13 tackles.

In the 23-9 triumph, he also recorded a strip sack of Ben DiNucci at quarterback, which teammate Rodney McLeod recovered and returned for a 53-yard score.
