Tae Daley is a professional football player who plays safety for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He stands 1.80 m tall and weighs 91 kg. He played football and attended Northside High School in high school. By the time his school career was over, he had more than 200 tackles, 13 interceptions, and 20 passes defended.



Additionally, as a sophomore, he participated in All-State soccer and helped the football team win the 2014 5A state championship. While attending Vanderbilt University, he participated in three seasons of collegiate football with the Vanderbilt Commodores. He participated in 11 games as a rookie in 2017 and was one of five true freshmen to see action.

As a sophomore in 2018, he appeared in 13 games, made 45 tackles, and had 5.5 tackles for loss. He made 57 tackles and a forced fumble while playing safety as a junior in 2019, starting nine games. He made 35 appearances and 108 tackles in his three seasons at Vanderbilt. He changed schools and played in all 13 games in 2021 before transferring to Virginia Tech for his final year.

Throughout his college career, he played in 46 games, had 181 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, intercepted seven passes, broke up 1.5 sacks, and caused two fumbles. His 2022 undrafted free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals was signed after the 2022 NFL Draft.
