A linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Tanner Vallejo is a professional football player. He is 1.85 m tall and 104 kg in weight. He played football and received MaxPreps All-American recognition during his senior year at Nevada Union High School. He played collegiate football for the Boise State Broncos while attending Boise State University.
He had 100 tackles in his sophomore year at Boise State, but he had to conclude his college career early so he could have wrist surgery. He contributed to the Broncos’ 28-0 victory in one game during his sophomore campaign by blocking two kicks.
In the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected Vallejo. He was released by the Bills on September 1st, 2018. In the same month, the Cleveland Browns claimed him off waivers. He was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Cardinals after the Browns dismissed him in February 2019. He was let go on September 1, 2019, after the final roster cuts.
The following day, he was claimed off waivers by the Washington Redskins. He was released on November 16, 2019. That same month, he joined the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad. In March 2021, Vallejo renewed his two-year, $4.1 million contract with the Cardinals.
