Tarik Black is an American football player who currently plays for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He played college football at both the University of Texas and the University of Michigan.
Black enrolled early at the University of Michigan in January of 2017. When people were seeing him perform during Michigan’s spring practice, he left quite an impression on them.
Even though he was only a true freshman, Black made his first career start as a wide receiver for Michigan in their season opener against Florida on September 2, 2017. At the time of his injury, he led the team in receiving yards and was in first place overall.
Even though he only participated in three games, he ended the season with 11 receptions, 149 yards, and one touchdown.
