Tarron Jackson, a native of Aiken is currently in his second season with the Philadelphia Eagles. The defensive end joined the Eagles when he was drafted in the sixth round with the 191st overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Jackson’s football career took momentum at Silver Bluff High School. He was very active on the school team and as a senior, he finished the season with 79 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and five sacks, which earned him an All-Area honor from the Aiken Standard.

Jackson after high school enrolled at Coastal Carolina University and played five seasons for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.



Jackson was only four games into his freshman year when he sustained an injury that ended his season and required him to use a medical redshirt. He took part in the first eight games of his redshirt freshman season before once again sustaining an injury that ended his season.

By the end of the year, he had accumulated 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble. Jackson made 58 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and three sacks during his redshirt sophomore season with the Chanticleers.
