Tayler Saucedo is a professional baseball pitcher. He plays for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team. Tayler was born on June 18, 1993, in Honolulu Hawaii. He started playing baseball at a very young age. When he was in middle school, he played for the Little League All-Stars.
In the 2015 MLB draft, Tayler was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 21st round of the draft. Tayler started his professional baseball career that year after the Blue Jays made him spend the season with the Bluefield Blue Jays of the Rookie Appalachian League and for the Low-A Vancouver Canadians.
He spent the 2016 minor league season in Single-A with the Lansing Lugnuts and played for both the High-A Dunedin Blue Jays and Lansing in 2017.
The 2020 minor league season was cancelled as a result of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic thus Tayler did not play in a game that year. He was added to Jay’s 40-man roster on June 12, 2021, and he made his MLB debut on June 17 that year for the Jays against the New York Yankees.
