Tayler Saucedo Parents: Meet Tanya and Andy

Tayler Saucedo

One of the professional baseball pitchers in the Toronto Blue Jays organisation is Tayler Saucedo. Tayler plays as a pitcher and has been with them since he was selected by the team in the 2015 MLB draft. He has a height of 1.96 m with a weight of 84 kg.

Tayler played in the Little League All-Stars when he was in middle school. He also played baseball at Tahoma High School in Maple Valley, Washington, at Tacoma Community College, where he played college baseball for just a year and then at Tennessee Wesleyan University.

He was drafted in the 2015 MLB draft by the Toronto Blue Jays and was assigned that same season to play with the Bluefield Blue Jays of the Rookie Appalachian League and for the Low-A Vancouver Canadians to make his professional debut.

Tayler was assigned in 2018 to play for both the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Dunedin. He spent the 2019 minor league season playing between the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons and New Hampshire.

After the 2020 minor league season got cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tayler did not play in a game. The following year, the Jays added him to their 40-man roster. He made his MLB debut for the team on June 17, 2021.

Taylor Saucedo is the son of Tanya Saucedo and Andy Saucedo. His father, Andy, is an ex-marine who travelled around the world.
