Taylor Joseph Stallworth, a defensive tackle with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League, was born on August 18, 1995, and previously played college football at South Carolina (NFL).
Stallworth made his debut with the South Carolina Gamecocks in his second season and played for them for the next four.
In his junior year, which was also his first full season as a starter, Stallworth racked up 41 tackles (three for loss), one sack, and three sacks.
Stallworth signed a contract with the New Orleans Saints on May 8, 2018, after declaring as an undrafted free agent. He was included in the Saints’ 53-man roster prior to the start of the regular season after a successful preseason.
On April 5, 2022, Stallworth signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. On August 30, 2022, he was released, and the following day, he was added to the practice squad. On October 12, 2022, he received a promotion to the active roster.
Stallworth attended Murphy High School and was raised in Mobile, Alabama. He made 85 tackles and 10.5 sacks as a junior.
After compiling 53 tackles, four sacks, and 12 tackles for loss during his senior season, he was awarded All-State and participated in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game.
Over offers from Arkansas, Minnesota, Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Southern Miss, and Tulane, Stallworth chose South Carolina to play college football.
