Taylor Walter-Lee Trammell is the full name of Taylor Trammell. He is an outfielder for the Seattle Mariners baseball team and a professional baseball player who was born in the United States.
Walter and Cynthia Trammell welcomed Trammell into the world on September 13, 1997, in Powder Springs, Georgia, in the United States. At Kennesaw, Georgia’s Mount Paran Christian School, he played baseball throughout his high school years. In August 2015, he also participated in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game.
When the Cincinnati Reds selected him in the 2016 MLB draft, he decided to sign with them rather than attend the Georgia Institute of Technology to play collegiate baseball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
That year, Trammell made his professional debut with the Rookie League’s Billings Mustangs. He began the 2017 campaign with the Class A Midwest League’s Dayton Dragons before being tasked with representing the Class A-Advanced Florida State League’s Daytona Tortugas in 2018.
He was given to the Amarillo Sod Poodles of the Class AA Texas League after being traded to the San Diego Padres, and he started playing for the Padres that season. In August 2020, the Padres sold his contract to the Seattle Mariners.
He was signed to a major league contract by the Mariners in 2021, and on April 1, 2021, the Mariners’ game against the San Francisco Giants marked his MLB debut.
