Taylor Trammell Parents: Meet Walter and Cynthia Trammell

Taylor Trammell, born Taylor Walter-Lee Trammell is known to be a professional baseball player from America. He plays in the position of an outfielder for the Seattle Mariners baseball team. He is 1.88 m tall and weighs 97 kg.

Trammell was born and raised in Georgia on September 13, 1997, in Powder Springs, Georgia in the USA. He had his high school baseball career at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia. He also played in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game in August 2015.

After high school, he wanted to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology to play college baseball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets but after the Cincinnati Reds selected him in the 2016 MLB draft, he chose to sign with them instead.

Trammell made his professional debut that year with the Billings Mustangs of the Rookie-level Pioneer League. In July 2019, the Reds traded him to the San Diego Padres and he made his Padres debut that year with the Amarillo Sod Poodles of the Class AA Texas League. The Seattle Mariners purchased his contract from the Padres in August 2020.

The Mariners called him up to the major leagues for the first time in 2021 and he made his MLB debut for the Mariners on April 1, 2021, when they faced the San Francisco Giants.

Taylor is the son of Walter Trammell and Cynthia Trammell. His father, Walter used to work in the U.S. Navy as a linguist and also for the U.S. Postal Service.

His mother on the other hand worked at Sam’s Club, an American network of exclusive-membership retail warehouse clubs run by Walmart Inc. for over twenty years.
