Tejay Anthony Antone is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Cincinnati Reds (MLB).



In Mansfield, Texas, Antone attended Mansfield Legacy High School. Although he was taken in the second round of the 2012 MLB draft,

Antone chose to attend Texas Christian University instead of signing with the Mets. During his time with the TCU Horned Frogs in 2013, he played six games.



For the 2014 season, Antone transferred to Weatherford College and finished 7-6 with a 2.88 ERA in 84+13 innings of work.

The Cincinnati Reds selected Antone in the 155th overall pick in the 2014 MLB draft. He was selected in the 5th round.

In 2014, Antone pitched for the Arizona League Reds and the Billings Mustangs, going 2–3 with a 5.76 ERA in 54+23 innings.

He pitched 158 innings for the Dayton Dragons in 2015, finishing 6–10. He was 14–7 with a 3.45 ERA in 156+13 innings for the Daytona Tortugas and the Louisville Bats in 2016.

Tommy John’s surgery kept him out of the 2017 season. 2018: 14–6 with 3.51 ERA in 151+13 innings with Daytona.

Antone pitched for the Chattanooga Lookouts and Louisville Bats in 2019, finishing 11–12 with a 4.00 ERA in 146+13 innings.
