Football League, Terrance Mitchell II plays cornerback in American football. He is 87 kilograms and 1.80 meters tall. He amassed 2,360 all-purpose yards, 48 receptions, and 24 touchdowns as a senior to earn Metro League Offensive MVP recognition. The University of Oregon offered him a football scholarship, which he accepted. He was awarded the starting left cornerback position as a redshirt freshman. He finished his collegiate career with 144 tackles, 7 interceptions, 25 passes defensed, and 4 forced fumbles in 40 games with 38 starts.

He was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $2.26 million contract with the Cowboys in May 2014, which also included a $45,896 signing bonus. The Chicago Bears added Mitchell to their practice squad in September 2014, moved him to the active roster in October, but he sat out the final ten games of the regular season as a healthy scratch.
