During the 2019 National Football League Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Harris in the sixth round (198th overall). Due to an injury to his groin on August 26, 2019, he was transferred to the injured reserve list.
Harris was released by the 49ers on September 5, 2020, and then added to the practice squad the following day. On September 16, he was put on the injured reserve list for the practice squad, then on October 7, he was activated back onto the practice squad.
He was moved up to the active roster on December 7 and December 25 for the team’s games against the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals in weeks 13 and 16, respectively, but he was placed back on the practice squad following each of those contests.
On January 4, 2021, he put pen to paper on a reserve/future contract. Harris was either waived or injured by the 49ers on August 4, 2021, and he was placed on injured reserve at that time.
