Tim Mayza

Tim Mayza is a professional baseball player with the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team. He is 1.88m tall and weighs 98 kg. He earns an annual salary of $1.25 million per his contract with the Jays.  

Tim was born and raised in Allentown in Pennsylvania on January 15, 1992. He had his non-professional baseball career at Upper Perkiomen High School in Red Hill, Pennsylvania and then at the Millersville University of Pennsylvania where he played college baseball.

Whiles in college, he also played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.DL the Toronto Blue Jays picked him during the 12th round of the 2013 MLB draft. He signed with them and received $100,000 as a signing bonus.

The Jays assigned him to play for the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Blue Jays that same year for him to make his professional debut. He was promoted later in the season to play for the Rookie Advanced Bluefield Blue Jays of the Appalachian League.

Tim was promoted to the major leagues on August 14, 2017, and he made his MLB debut the next day.
