Tobias Myers is a professional baseball pitcher who now plays for the San Francisco Giants. Myers was traded to the Giants from the Guardians.

Myers grew up in Winter Haven, Florida, and attended the Winter Haven High School.

As a senior in 2016, he finished 8-2 with a 1.51 ERA, striking out 79 batters in 69+23 innings pitched. After high school, Myers committed to the University of South Florida where he played college baseball.



Myers was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles.

He renounced his commitment to the University of South Florida and signed for $225,000 with Baltimore.

Myers made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast League Orioles, pitching three innings with a 4.70 ERA. He began 2017 with the Aberdeen IronBirds of the New York-Penn League’s Class A Short Season.

Myers was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays for Tim Beckham on July 31, 2017.

Myers spent the rest of the season with the Hudson Valley Renegades of the Class A Short Season New York-Penn League. He had a 4-2 record, a 3.54 ERA, and a 0.98 WHIP in 12 starts split between Aberdeen and Hudson Valley.
