Tony Pollard’s Parents: Meet Torria and Tarrance Pollard

The Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League presently have Tony Randall Pollard on their roster as a running back. His birthday is April 30, 1997. Prior to being chosen by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, he played college football for Memphis.

Pollard played high school football while attending Melrose High School. He started as a cornerback and wide receiver for his high school’s football team as a senior.

He accumulated more than 1,200 receiving yards, scored 20 touchdowns, and was selected All-District 16-AAA, all of which helped the club qualify for the playoffs. Pollard accepted a football scholarship from the University of Memphis.



As a redshirt freshman, he participated in 13 games, starting seven of them. At 128 overall and in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Pollard.

He carried the ball 13 times for 24 yards in his NFL debut against the New York Giants in Week 1, helping the squad to a 35-17 victory.
