Baseball pitcher Antonio C. Santillan of the Cincinnati Reds is an American professional player (MLB). Santillan went to high school in Arlington, Texas, at Seguin High School for Boys.



He has agreed to attend Texas Tech University and play baseball for the Red Raiders. His name was called in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft and he was taken by the Cincinnati Reds in the second round.

Santillan spent his first professional season with the Arizona League Reds, with a 0–2 record and a 5.03 ERA in 19+23 innings pitched. In 2016, he split time between the Billings Mustangs and Dayton Dragons, with a 3–3 record, 5.19 ERA, and 1.43 WHIP in 15 games. In 2017,



he returned to Dayton, going 9–8 with a 3.38 ERA in 25 games (24 starts). During the season, he was promoted to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos from the Daytona Tortugas. He was 10–7 with a 3.08 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP in 26 starts for both organizations.

He pitched for the Chattanooga Lookouts in 2019, finishing 2–8 with a 4.84 ERA in 102+13 innings. Santillan joined the Reds 40–man roster in 2019.

He missed the whole 2020 minor league season because of the COVID-19 epidemic. Santillan made his MLB debut on June 12, 2021.  The next day,

Santillan started against the Colorado Rockies, tossing 4+2/3 innings of one-run ball with five strikeouts.  He struck out Rockies shortstop Trevor Story.
