Trent Grisham is an American professional baseball outfielder for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Milwaukee Brewers, who selected him in the first round (15th pick) of the 2015 MLB draft.
After Christian Yelich went down with a knee injury, he started in right field for the final two weeks of the season and hit.231 with six home runs and 24 RBIs in 51 games.

As part of the deal that sent P Zach Davies and IF Luis Urias to the San Diego Padres, he was moved on November 27th.
In 2020, the Padres promoted him to the starting lineup and gave him the starting centerfield role. In a 13-2 victory over the Houston Astros on August 22nd, he hit his first career three-homer game.
