Trent Harris is an outside linebacker in the NFL, although he is currently an unsigned free agent. He is 116 kg in weight and 1.88 meters tall. He was reared in Winter Park, Florida, in the United States. He attended Winter Park High School. He attended the University of Miami after finishing high school, where he played college football for the Miami Hurricanes.
He spent four seasons as a member of the Miami Hurricanes, and as a senior, he led the team with 8.5 sacks, 37 tackles, and 10.5 tackles for loss. Additionally, he received third team Atlantic Coast Conference honors. With 126 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, three passes defended, and three forced fumbles, his collegiate career came to an end.
As an undrafted free agent, Harris signed with the New England Patriots in April 2018. After training camp, he was cut, but in September 2018, the Patriots re-signed him to their practice squad. He was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins in September 2019. He made his NFL debut on September 22, 2019. In March 2020, the Dolphins tender Harris a one-year, $585,000 contract.
He signed the contract on April 22, 2020. He signed up for the New York Giants practice squad in October 2020, and on October 17 and October 22, he was added to the active roster. In May 2022, he was let go. In August 2022, he signed a contract with the Baltimore Ravens, but that same month, he was released.
