Tress Way Siblings: Who Is Tress Way Brother, Cole Way?

Veteran punter, Tress Way is currently in his tenth season in the National Football League. The Tulsa, Oklahoma, native was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2013.

Since then, he has demonstrated excellence and tenacity in competitive sports. Way started his career at Union High School before going pro in the NFL. He had a successful high school career before entering college.

Way went to the University of Oklahoma in 2008 and played football for the Sooners for five years. Way graduated from the University of Oklahoma in December 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies.



Way did not play in his first season with the Oklahoma Sooners football team due to him being redshirted. Way played 53 games in the four seasons he was with the Sooners.

Way had a career-long of 85 yards for his longest punt and averaged 44.0 yards per punt. He initially played as a kicker but switched to punting after being unsuccessful at the kicking position. 

Way had a total of 250 punts, 91 of which were inside the opponent’s 20-yard line, 71 of which were for 50 yards or more, and 36 of which were touchbacks.

Who Is Tress Way Brother, Cole Way?

Cole Way is Tress’ little brother. He was born on October 23, 1991. Like his elder brother, Cole also played college football for Tulsa Golden Hurricane.

In high school, he had established himself as a respectable pitcher, but it had been a couple of years since he had engaged in real baseball activity.

Cole is currently playing for the Royals’ rookie-level squad in the Appalachian League, which is known as the Burlington Royals.
