Trevon Diggs, a former Alabama cornerback, is in his third season with the Dallas Cowboys. Diggs was taken 51st overall by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was a very driven player out of Alabama.



During his time at Alabama, he was named CFP national champion (2018) Third-team All-American (2019) First-team All-SEC (2019).

Diggs signed a four-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys for a total of $6,320,907 in 2020. After Byron Jones left via free agency, the team decided to promote Diggs to start at right cornerback.




Diggs induced a fumble by DK Metcalf at the goal line in Week 3’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, however the ball went out of bounds after crossing the goal line. Near the goal line, Metcalf slowed down and held the ball out with one hand, giving Diggs the opportunity to force a fumble and recover the ball.

Diggs recorded the first sack of his career against Baker Mayfield in Week 4 of the game against the Cleveland Browns, which the Cowboys lost 49–38. Diggs made the first two interceptions of his career in Week 8 on Sunday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles. The game ended with a score of 23–9 for the Eagles.
