Trevon Wesco plays the position of tight end for the Chicago Bears, which compete in the National Football League. After participating in college football at Lackawant College and West Virginia, the Jets selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

During the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected Wesco in the fourth round with the 121st overall pick. This placed him in the Jets’ possession.

The decision to put Wesco on injured reserve was made on November 9, 2020. On the 12th of December, 2020, he became active.

The 2021 season began with Wesco serving as the third-string tight end behind starters Ryan Griffin and Tyler Kroft. In Week 16, he sustained a knee injury, and on December 27, he was placed on injured reserve as a result of the injury.

During the course of the season, he played in 12 games and made seven starts, although he only had three catches for 35 yards and no touchdowns. On the 30th of August in 2022, he was one of the players the Jets cut off their roster before doing so.

Wesco was picked up by the Chicago Bears off of waivers on the 31st of August, 2022.
