Trevor Gott Siblings: Meet Tatum Gott, Morgan Gott and Madison Gott

Trevor Gott’s full name is Trevor Vaughan Gott. He currently plays baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team of Major League Baseball(MLB). Trevor was born on August 26, 1992, in Lexington, Kentucky in the USA. 

He played high school baseball at Tates Creek High School. Before he graduated from high school, he was named the Gatorade Kentucky High School Player of the Year. When he graduated, he played college baseball for the Wildcats at the University of Kentucky.

After his freshman year, he played for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he won the league’s reliever of the year in the Russell Ford Award. Baseball America was named the second-best draft prospect from the University of Kentucky in 2013.

During the 2013 MLB draft, the San Diego Padres drafted him in the 6th round of the draft. He signed with the Padres and received $200,000 as a signing bonus. He started his professional career that same year with the Eugene Emeralds of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League.

Trevor was traded in July 2014 to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He made his MLB debut with the Angels on June 14, 2015. The Angels, in December 2015 traded Trevor to the Washington Nationals. The San Francisco Giants purchased his contract from the Angels in February 2019. In November  2021, Trevor signed a major league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers and he has been with them to date.
