Trevor John Ikaikaloa Larnach is a popular baseball outfielder for the Major League Baseball Minnesota Twins. Larnach made his professional debut for the Twins in 2021 against the Detroit Tigers
Larnach was taken by the Minnesota Twins in the first round, 20th overall, in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. On July 5, he agreed to terms with the Twins for a $2.55 million signing bonus.
In August, he was promoted to the Cedar Rapids Kernels of the Class A Midwest League after making his professional debut with the Elizabethton Twins of the Rookie-level Appalachian League. He hit.303/.390/.500 in 42 games for both teams, with five home runs and 26 RBIs.
Larnach opened 2019 with the Class A-Advanced Florida State League’s Fort Myers Miracle, winning FSL All-Star honors. In July, he was promoted to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
Larnach batted .309 with 13 home runs and 66 RBIs in 127 games between the two organizations. Because of the minor league season was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Larnach did not participate in any games.
Larnach was named to the 40-man roster and promoted to the main leagues for the first time on May 7, 2021.
