Trevor Rogers is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2020.
Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, New Mexico, is where Rogers went to high school. At the end of the season, he was 9-2 with an ERA of 1.07 and 122 strikeouts, leading the 6A state winners to triumph.
Rogers has made a verbal commitment to play college baseball for Texas Tech University. the 13th overall pick by the Miami Marlins in the 2017 MLB draft, he was widely regarded as a premier prospect.
Rogers was paid $3.4 million to join Miami. For the whole 2018 season, Rogers pitched for the Greensboro Grizzlies, posting a 2–7 record and a 5.82 ERA in 17 appearances.
He was awarded an All-Florida State League All-Star while playing for the Jupiter Hammerheads.
In August, he was given the opportunity to join the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Rogers compiled a 6–10 record with a 2.90 ERA in 23 starts for both teams, striking out 150 hitters in 136+1/3 innings.
