American-born Tristan Vizcaino plays placekicking for the National Football League’s New England Patriots. On July 31, 1996, he was born in Chino Hills, California, in the United States. At Damien High School in La Verne, California, he participated in high school football. From 2014 through 2017, he also participated in college football with the University of Washington’s Washington Huskies squad. His most notable performance was in 2017, when he made 12 field goals.
He signed a reserve/futures deal with the Cincinnati Bengals in January 2019 after being undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, and he was released from that contract in August 2019. During the 2019 NFL season, Vizcaino went unsigned. However, in 2020, he signed Reserve/Futures contracts with the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, and Minnesota Vikings practice squad. On January 1, 2021, he was added to the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. The following day, he was added to the team’s active roster before of the team’s Week 17 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The game marked his NFL debut.
On January 23, 2021, he was added to the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad. On February 1, 2021, his practice squad agreement with the team came to an end. He signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on March 5, 2021, and on June 10, 2022, he signed with the New England Patriots.
