Tyson Michael Blach, simply referred to as Ty Blach is one of the professional baseball players in the major leagues. Blach plays the position of a pitcher for the Colorado Rockies baseball team.
He was born on October 20, 1990, in Denver, Colorado in the United States of America. His parents are Randy Blach and Karen Blach. He attended Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado and he played baseball for the school. He then enrolled at Creighton University where he played college baseball for the Creighton Blue Jays.
He was drafted in 2012 by the San Francisco Giants in the fifth round of the 2012 MLB draft. He made his professional debut the following year after he was assigned to spend the season playing for the San Jose Giants. He spent the 2014 season playing for the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
In 2015, he was made to spend the entire season with the Sacramento River Cats. He made it to the Giant’s 40-man roster after the 2015 season. He spent 2016 with the Sacramento River Cats. In September of 2016, he was called up to the majors and he made his MLB debut for the Giants on September 5, 2016, when they played against the Colorado Rockies.
In August 2019, the Baltimore Orioles claimed him off waivers. He signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies in December 2021 and he has been playing for them to date.
