Tyler Lawrence France is an American professional baseball first baseman who currently plays for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball. France was born on July 13, 1994 in the United States.

Earlier in his career, he was a player with the San Diego Padres. South Hills High School, located in West Covina, California, was France’s alma mater.

After graduating from high school, he continued his baseball career at San Diego State University from 2013 to 2015.

On April 24, 2019, San Diego Padres manager Andy Green gave Matt France his first opportunity to play in the major leagues with the club.

Dan Altavilla and Austin Adams. In January of 2022, Frances wed Maggie, who would later currently be his wife.
