For the New England Patriots of the National Football League, Ty Montgomery plays both wide receiver and running back in American football. He is 98 kilograms and 1.83 meters tall. He excelled in football, track, basketball, baseball, and lacrosse while attending St. Mark’s School of Texas in Dallas, Texas.

He participated in football as a quarterback, running back, and wide receiver for the Lions. He gained 823 rushing yards on 93 runs, 17 receptions, and 10 total touchdowns as a senior. Throughout his high school career, he had 118 catches and 36 total touchdowns. From 2011 through 2014, he participated in college football for the Stanford Cardinal squad at Stanford University.

Overall, he ended his senior year with 144 rushing yards and a touchdown, 61 receptions for 604 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. With 172 receptions for 2,125 yards and 15 touchdown receptions, he completed his collegiate career. The Green Bay Packers selected him in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Ty Montgomery

He was traded to the Baltimore Ravens in October 2018. He signed a contract with the New York Jets in April 2019. He had a total of 13 receptions for 90 receiving yards and 32 carries for 103 rushing yards in the 2019 season. In May 2020, he committed to the New Orleans Saints. He agreed to a two-year, $3.6 million deal with the New England Patriots in March 2022.
