Tyler Allgeier is a professional football player who runs back for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons. He is 1.80 meters tall and 100 kilograms in weight. In Fontana, California, he attended Henry J. Kaiser High School. In high school, he played on the football squad. With 5,000 running yards and 56 touchdowns at the end of his high school career, he set a school record.
He made a commitment to play college football at Brigham Young University (BYU) following high school. He spent three seasons as a football player for the Brigham Young University Cougars. He participated in four games during his debut season at BYU in 2018 and had nine carries for 49 yards.
He sat out the 2018 season as a true freshman and played both linebacker and running back in 2019. He took part in all 13 games of that season, recording 26 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and 119 yards on 17 carries for the offense. He played in all 11 games he was a part of in 2020, starting eight of them at running back. By the end of the season, he had 1,130 yards and 13 touchdowns on 150 carries.
He played in 41 games and earned 21 starts for the collegiate team. He made 452 tries for 2,899 total yards, scoring 36 touchdowns for an average of 6.4 yards each. In the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Atlanta Falcons selected Allgeier.
