Tyler Duffey is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB).

In 2014, he became the first player to reach Triple-A. It was a mostly Miracle and Rock Cats season, but he also made three starts with the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings, going 2-0 and 3.94 with a 3.94 ERA in those games.

In 25 starts, he had a 13-3 record and a 3.68 ERA. He struck out 149 batters in 149 1/3 innings, walking just 30 of them. The Chattanooga Lookouts were his first team of the 2015 season. AA affiliate with the Minnesota Twins, where he went 2-2 with a 2.56 era in eight starts.



While at Rochester, he made 13 appearances with a record of 4-6, 2.72. He made his major league debut against the Toronto Blue Jays on August 5th, taking the mound for the first time.

Josh Donaldson and Jose Bautista each hit home runs in the first two innings, with Bautista hitting a grand slam in the ninth, and he was blamed for Minnesota’s 9-7 loss.

That year, he wasn’t alone in being battered by the Blue Jays, but his performance improved as the season progressed.
