Tyler Larsen is an American football center that was born on July 8, 1991. He professionally plies his trade for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL).

Prior to that, he played college football at Utah State. He signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2014 and has also played for the Carolina Panthers.

Larsen played both offensive and defensive line at Sandy, Utah’s Jordan High School, which he attended. He made 27 tackles, six sacks, six fumble recoveries, and four touchdowns as a senior, earning him first-team all-state and second-team all-region honors.

All four seasons, he assisted in guiding the Beetdiggers to the state playoffs. His career totals included 96 tackles, 16 sacks, 12 fumble recoveries, and four touchdowns.

A three-time all-conference selection, Larsen was regarded as one of the best interior lineman prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft He was predicted to be taken in the draft’s later rounds.

On March 18, 2021, Larsen signed a contract with the Washington Football Team. After Chase Roullier was placed on injured reserve in Week 10, Larsen took over as the starting center.

He was forced to leave the game early due to injuries in Week 11’s contest against the Carolina Panthers. He skipped the next two games.

Larsen made a comeback in the Week 14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but he was carried off the field in the fourth quarter when defensive tackle Neville Gallimore tackled him and quarterback Taylor Heinicke. On December 27, he was placed on injured reserve.

On March 17, 2022, Larsen re-signed with the team. He was put on the physically unable to perform list at the beginning of training camp in 2022, and on October 8, 2022, he was reinstated to the active roster.
