Tyler Larsen Parents: Meet LeRoy Larsen and Barbara Larsen

Tyler Larsen represents the Washington Commanders in the National Football League as a center. At 1.93 m tall, he weighs 142 kg. He was a lineman for the Jordan High School offense and defense. He recorded 27 tackles, six sacks, six forced fumbles, and four touchdowns as a senior, earning him first-team all-state and second-team all-region honors.

He helped lead the Beetdiggers to the state playoffs every one of the team’s four seasons. Four touchdowns, 12 forced fumbles, 12 sacks, 96 tackles, and 16 sacks were also part of his career totals. He played for Utah State University’s collegiate football team, the Utah State Aggies, from 2009 to 2013.

He participated in the first two games of his rookie season before suffering a knee injury that ended his season, earning him a medical redshirt year. After going undrafted in 2014, Larsen signed with the Miami Dolphins. Prior to the start of the regular season, he was released by the Washington Redskins after signing a contract with them in February 2015.

In January 2016, he signed a futures contract with the Carolina Panthers. He was reinstated to the practice squad after being discharged on October 8, 2016. In March 2021, he committed to playing football for the Washington Commanders. December 2021 saw him being placed on injured reserve. On March 17, 2022, Larsen agreed to resign with the group.
