Tyler Naquin Parents: Meet Ken Naquin and Roanna Naquin

Tyler Naquin’s full name is Tyler Wesley Naquin. He happens to be one of the professional baseball players who play as an outfielder for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. He had his amateur baseball career at Klein Collins High School where he played for the school’s baseball team.

After high school, he enrolled at the Texas A&M University where he played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies baseball team. Before he graduated from college, he was named the Big 12 Conference Baseball Player of the Year in 2011.

He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft. He signed with the Indians and made his professional debut that season playing for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers of the Rookie-level New York-Penn League. In 2013, he was assigned to play for the Carolina Mudcats of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League and the Akron Aeros of the Class AA Eastern League.

Tyler made his MLB debut on April 5, 2016, for the Cleveland Indians. He became a free agent in December 2020 and in February 2021, he signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds organization that included an invitation to spring training. In March 2021, the Reds added him to their 40-man roster.
