Zuber played college baseball at Arkansas State University after graduating from White Hall High School in White Hall, Arkansas.

For the Owls in 2014, Zuber was one of the finest pitchers in the CPL, with a 2.56 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 38 2/3 innings pitched.



His debut is the 131st for a former CPL player in major league history and the first of the 2020 MLB season. The Owls now have six major league alumni on their roster.

He was a member of the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League during the summer of 2016.

In the sixth round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, he was selected by the Kansas City Royals. In Arkansas State history, he was the highest-drafted player.

Zuber began his professional career with the Burlington Royals and the Lexington Legends in Burlington, Vermont.

He pitched for the Lexington Tigers and the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 2018 and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in 2019. The Royals invited him to Spring Training in 2020.

On July 24, 2020, Zuber made his major league debut, pitching two scoreless innings against the Cleveland Indians.

Zuber pitched in 23 games for the 2020 Kansas City Royals, posting a 1-2 record with a 4.09 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 22.0 innings thrown.
