In high school, he played football for Westfield High School. His college football career was spent playing for the Florida Gators at the University of Florida. Using the 252nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft’s seventh round, the Denver Broncos selected Cleveland. He was released by the Broncos in August 2021 and immediately re-signed to the practice squad. He received a promotion in January 2022 to the active roster. Prior to being released and re-signed to the practice squad on November 15, 2022, he made the Broncos’ final roster in 2022 and participated in six games.
