Victor Teodoro Arano Armas is a Mexican professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball.

He was born on February 7, 1995, in Mexico (MLB). In 2017, he made his Major League Baseball debut with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Arano was born in the city of Cosamaloapan in the Mexican state of Veracruz. In April of 2013, he became a Los Angeles Dodgers player after signing with the team as an international free agent.

He made his debut in the major leagues with the Arizona League Dodgers that year and spent the entirety of the season with them,

compiling a record of 3-2 with a 4.20 earned-run average in 13 games, of which he started eight of them. He started the year 2014 playing with the Great Lakes Loons.

A previous deal involving Roberto Hernández resulted in the Philadelphia Phillies acquiring Arano on August 28, 2014, as the player to be named later in exchange for Roberto Hernández.

He pitched 86 innings for the Great Lakes and appeared in 22 games, starting 15 of them. He had a 4-7 record with a 4.08 earned-run average and 83 strikeouts.

While playing for both the Clearwater and Reading Fighting Phils in 2016, he finished the year with a combined record of 5-2, a 2.26 earned run average (ERA), 46 bullpen appearances, and 95 strikeouts in 79.2 innings pitched.
