Robles became a free agent in 2013 and signed with the Washington Nationals. A year later, he made his MLB debut with the Dominican Summer League Nationals in the rookie-level Dominican Summer League, putting up a.313 batting average with three home runs and 25 RBIs in 47 games for the team.
