Albert Almora Jr is an American professional baseball center fielder for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets.

In 2012, Almora split his time between the AZL Cubs and the Boise Hawks, playing a total of 33 games with each team. He had a batting average of .321, with two home runs and 19 RBIs. In 2013, he was a member of the Kane County Cougars baseball team.

Because of his injury, he only appeared in 61 games, which led to a batting average of.329 for his career. Almora was sent to the Arizona Fall League by the Cubs after the end of the 2013 season so that he could receive more experience.

In 2014, he split his time between the Daytona Cubs and the Tennessee Smokies, where he recorded a slash line of.270/.291/.392 while playing 125 games. He also hit nine home runs and drove in sixty runs batted in.

In 2015, Almora was a member of the Smokies, the team for which he batted .272, six home runs, and 46 runs batted in throughout the course of 106 games. He started the year 2016 playing with the Iowa Cubs. Before being called up to the big leagues, he was batting for Iowa. 318 in a total of 54 games.
