After leaving Don Bosco, Peppers enrolled at Paramus Catholic High School in Paramus, New Jersey. While there, he was an integral part of the Paladins’ run to another state title victory in 2012. After completing his junior year at Paramus Catholic, Peppers was honored with the Player of the Year award by MSG Varsity.

In his last year of high school, Peppers led Paramus Catholic to another state championship by beating St. Peter’s Prep. Additionally, Peppers was chosen to take part in the Under Armour All-America Game for the 2013–2014 season.

Peppers, a superb track athlete, ran the 100-meter dash in 10.77 seconds, which was fast enough to set a record for the non-public class of New Jersey Class A outdoor races. He ran the 100 meters in a time of 10.51 seconds, which is his personal best.

In his junior year at Paramus Catholic, he became only the second person in the history of the New Jersey Meet of Champions to win both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. The first person to accomplish this feat was Fabian Santiago of Oakcrest High School, who did it the previous year.
