Javon Wims is currently in his fifth season in the NFL and he plays for the Arizona Cardinals. Prior to signing a contract with the Cardinals, he spent three seasons with the Chicago Bears and a season between the Raiders and Browns.

The experienced wide receiver started his football career at a young age. He was a student at Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida, and was part of the high school football team.

After high school, he continued his career at the University of Georgia and played for the Georgia Bulldogs.

His first game for Georgia was on September 24, and he had one catch for 10 yards in that game. In a game against Kentucky on November 5, Wims recorded career-highs with five receptions for a total of 90 yards, including a season-high reception of 51 yards.

Wims had his first touchdown catch for Georgia on December 30, 2016, against TCU in the Liberty Bowl. The reception went for 4 yards and gave Georgia a 31–23 victory over the Horned Frogs. Wims had 17 receptions for 190 yards and one touchdown in his rookie season with the Bulldogs.
