In the NFL, Markus Golden is a professional outside linebacker who competes for the Arizona Cardinals. His height is 1.91 meters. He is 117 kilograms in weight. He attended Affton High School while playing football. As a senior, he set a record by rushing for 2,264 yards, scoring 30 times, compiling 108 tackles, and registering 10 sacks.

At Hutchinson Community College, he played collegiate football during his first year there. He had 90 tackles, two interceptions, 26 tackles for a loss, and 10 sacks in addition to those other stats. Also, he caused five turnovers. After moving to the University of Missouri, he continued to play football for the Missouri Tigers. Golden was taken by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

His 48 tackles, four forced fumbles, and 11.0 sacks were the most on the team during his participation in 16 games, five of which he started. On September 9, 2022, he and the Cardinals reached a one-year contract agreement.
