Shane Robert Bieber (born May 31, 1995) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Cleveland Guardians.

He was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft by the Indians. Bieber debuted in Major League Baseball in 2018, was selected as an All-Star in 2019 and 2021, and won the American League Cy Young Award in 2020.

In July 2021, Bieber and his longtime girlfriend Kara got engaged. Bieber lives in Westlake, Ohio, a Cleveland suburb, during baseball season.

The Cleveland pitcher picked “Not Justin” as his nickname for Players Weekend in 2019, despite having the same last name as Canadian musician Justin Bieber. A few weeks later, Justin was spotted sporting a “Not Shane Bieber” shirt.

Justin was then given an Indians jersey by Bieber. In the same year, a Topps baseball card misidentified the pitcher as “Justin” on the reverse, prompting both Biebers to joke about it on Twitter.
