Tyus Bowser plays professional football for the United States. He plays outside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He is 1.91 m tall and 110 kg. He played football while a student at John Tyler High School for the Lions team. As a senior, he had 59 tackles and 24 sacks.

He eventually enrolled at the University of Houston, where he played NCAA football for the Houston Cougars from 2013 to 2016. As a rookie in 2013, he recorded 26 total stops, 5.0 sacks, one interception, two passes defended, and one forced fumble.

The Baltimore Ravens selected Bowser with the 47th overall selection in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was the third outside linebacker from his school to be selected for the team. On May 5, 2017, Bowser and the Ravens came to an agreement on a four-year, $5.57 million deal, with a $3.37 million guarantee and a $2.19 million signing bonus.

In March 2021, he re-signed with the Ravens, agreeing to a four-year, $22 million deal with a $27 million option. On August 26, 2022, Bowser was placed on the reserve/PUP list to start the season.
